1632 Austrian Taler

I spend a lot of time looking at coins on eBay and various other sites. I'm always in search of the next coin. Most of the time, I cant afford most of what I'm looking at. There are some Saxony Thalers that I really want. They depict a man in a full suit of armor holding a broad sword. I haven't had the guts to offer up the money on one yet. This Austrian Taler is the closest thing I could find that I could afford at the time. It still cost quite a bit. I sold an U.S. 1798 Bust dollar so that I could get this a few other coins. At that time, I realized that I just wasn't into U.S. coins anymore. Parting with the Bust dollar was easy. I really love this coin.
So, I had my pocket full of cash and walked into a coin show. You never know if your going to see a ton of foreign or almost nothing at all. I walked the outside border of the room. No, no, no...bingo! what's that? There I saw it laying in a case. I had to have it! I was very happy with the price. Wow, I could believe I found this. Sure, its not a Saxony Taler, but it sure is pretty close.
