I started collecting Crowns or world dollars back in 1996. It was a slow process. I was newly married and had a lot of other things going on. eBay was brand new and brought this new world of collecting to me. So, I bought a few coins every now and then.
Flash forward 20 years and I find myself with a lot fewer bills to pay. Ya, its nice, I guess. So I started buying all kinds of coins. Got lots of French 5 Francs and German 5 Marks. Last year I decided I would try to buy 1 Crown every week for the year. Its not easy trying to buy something different every week and stay on a budget. I almost did it, I think. As of now, 3/12/18, I think ive bought maybe 7 Crowns.
So my goal here, is to provide either a history lesson on each coin or some other personal stories. I have a lot of coins to write about. Please enjoy my writings and have patience because I'm still learning how to use this site.
